BREAKING NEWS: CEO Craig Jelinek to step down Jan. 1
His successor, COO Ron Vachris, had already been announced a while ago, but now it’s official that he will take over very soon. We think Costco should be in good hands going forward as Ron has been with the company for over 40 years - and even started as a forklift driver. Now that’s an example of promoting from within! Some employees seem to be looking forward to a change in leadership.
Our only concern: he better not get rid of the $1.50 hot dog combo! 😱

Mark your calendars, folks! Costco is gearing up for your holiday shopping spree(s). Their holiday hours are in effect Saturday 11/4 through Friday 12/23:
Monday - Friday: 10AM - 8:30 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10 AM - 6:00 PM
Thanksgiving: Closed
Black Friday: 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Christmas Eve: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Christmas Day: Closed
New Years Eve: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
New Years Day: Closed

Costco Announces 4th Quarter Earnings
Looks like Costco is having a great year so far and stronger than ever - thanks to all your purchases! 💰 Here are a few highlights from their latest earnings call:
Q4 Net Sales: $77.4 billion - that’s a 9.4% increase over last year!
Revenue from membership fees increased by 11.5% to $1.24 billion in Q4
Costco ended the fiscal year with 112.9 million individual members - that’s almost HALF of all Americans over 18 yrs old!
Opened 26 new warehouses & are planning to open 20-25 more in 2024
Costco.com sales grew by 21% in Q4
