More Breaking Food Court News 🍦🍓

So long strawberry! It was a good run while it lasted, but Costco has decided to bring back chocolate ice cream to the food court. So now we’re back to vanilla and chocolate ice cream and, honestly, we can’t wait to order a choco-nilla swirl again!

(OK, we just made that up….but, hey, it sounds better than van-ocolate, right?)

No firm date yet on when chocolate will appear, but it’s likely to be sometime in March. Not sure if swirl option will actually be available… but one can wish, right?

Update: Costco vs. Sam’s Club

In our recent blog post comparing Costco and Sam’s Club, it seems we skipped over one of the most important aspects of the shopping experience: checkout. Many people commented that Sam’s Club’s “Scan & Go” feature in their app was a huge advantage over Costco. We agree and will be sure to update our article soon with this information.

Many Costco lovers concede that the technology behind Sam’s web site and app are far superior to Costco. Hopefully between the new CEO and CFO, there will be a new focus on upgrading Costco’s technology soon.
